This Anaphylaxis training course is designed to assist staff to recognise, manage and treat a casualty in their care who is suffering from the potential life threatening condition of Anaphylaxis. It is important to recognise and differentiate between allergic reactions and the potentially life-threatening anaphylactic reactions as quickly as possible.
This course is particularly suitable for staff working in schools, nurseries or other settings where an adrenaline auto injector (AAI) may need to be administered.

- Recognition of life threatening problems associated with the Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability (Neurological status), Exposure (Skin and mucosal changes)
- Explain the need for an early call for help and treatment – (algorithm)
- Post treatment care
